Ethics and Compliance

The Business Ethics Department supports and helps protect our culture and reputation by providing ethical material to help the company make ethical decisions at work. Execution of the program includes standards of business conduct, promoting legal compliance and ethics training, investigating sensitive issues such as potential ethics and conflicts of interest, and identifying additional potential ethical issues for the company. The majority of reports made by the Business Ethics Unit concern employee relations issues. This trend is in line with other companies (retail or otherwise) that provide reporting as part of comprehensive ethics and compliance programs. The Standards of Business Conduct booklet is a handbook distributed to all partners to help them make appropriate decisions in their work. These standards outline some of the company’s expectations for the way we conduct Hieuverage business and balance our mission with our core ethical values.

Hieuverage Malaysia Milestone

2013 – Hieuverage opened its first store in Penang – the first in Peninsular Malaysia

 

2014 – Hieuverage opened its first store in Johor, Southern Region of Malaysia. It has since opened three more outlets in the Klang Valley.

 

2015 – Hieuverage opened its first two branches in Kedah, the northern region of Malaysia. It also opened a second outlet in Johor, its first outlet in Genting Highlands and four more outlets in the Klang Valley.

 

2016 – Hieuverage became the first F&B retailer in Penang to offer “Matcha Powder Sale”, starting from its outlet in Gurney Plaza.

 

2017 – Hieuvage’s 20th store in Malaysia opened in KLCC, the world’s tallest twin towers.

 

2018 – Hieuverage launches Drive-Thru concept store in Malaysia.

 

2019 – Hieuverage updated their logo and launched the Hieuverage Membership Program.

 

2020 – Hieuvage Malaysia celebrates its 7th anniversary with a limited edition Hieuverage card and a tumbler with local batik designs.

 

2021 – Launch of the Hieuverage mobile app.

 

2022 – Hieuverage builds a computer room for the children of the Pulau Tikus Orphanage.

 

2023 – Hieuverage opens the Hieuverage Sign Language store for the deaf.
